English Coffee with Roasted Figs

INGREDIENTS:    

1. 4 oz (120 g) fresh figs,sliced into 1/4-inch (60 mm) slices.

2. 1/2 pound (240 g) whole bean Kenya AA or Ethiopian coffee.

3. 1/2 pound (240 g) whole bean Colombian coffee.




METHOD:

1.Roast figs at 300°F (149°C) for 1-2 hours until completely dry and crackly.

2.In a blender,combine coffee and roasted figs.

3.Grind and brew English coffee with roasted figs as for regular coffee.
